What is Matchmaking and how does it work?
Matchmaking is a process of helping people find the Love they want, which Soniyah calls Empowered Matchmaking. Soniyah does make matches when she has two people who are great for each other. She has found that the magic is in having our mindset come into alignment with our intention by doing what she calls, the Heartwork, which is the primary way. This way of Matchmaking has consistently shown that Love is inevitable.
What makes Finding Bliss different from other matchmaking services?
With Finding Bliss Empowered Matchmaking, Soniyah helps her clients understand the limiting patterns of unworthiness, lovability, rejection and more, ultimately helping them become open and accepting to allowing Love in. This is what she calls, “becoming a Love magnet”, creating a new mindset, which consists of supportive beliefs, behaviors, feelings, emotions, and energy in the body, mind, and soul to create the Love you want.
Who are your typical clients?
Age – 21-80’s. There’s no limit!
Gender – All genders and all sexual orientations
Location – Right now, I’m primarily in the US and Canada, however, that is moving to global soon.
The three qualities I look for in my clients are:
- Someone who is Open, willing to see the value in investing in themselves and in this arena of their life.
- Someone who is Coachable, willing to see things from a new lens and a new perspective.
- Someone who is looking for something that is Sustainable and Long-Term. You’re not coming with the mindset of “Fix my problems” and “Find me a match”, sort of speak! You are coming to create a Shift.
Note, there is no prerequisite of any previous work in therapy or coaching. Only an awareness of the above qualities is essential. Soniyah also works with people who are immersed in personal development and are pioneers in the work. We are all one, no matter where we are in life and Love.
How does relationship coaching help me find love?
Relationship Coaching is Soniyah’s signature way of helping people find the Love they want. She calls this the Heartwork. The Heartwork is experiential. It’s a combination of mind, body, and soul practices that were created from nearly two decades of Matchmaking, Love Research, and sessions with clients.
Each session with Soniyah meets clients exactly where they are at on their journey. She honors your pace while also expanding you to create the relationship you desire. When it comes to matters of the heart, nothing is one size fits all. Every person is unique in their needs and wants. Soniyah’s sessions are personalized for each person and couple, cultivating self compassion through time and practice.
What can I expect during the Matchmaking process?
First and foremost we go through a Discovery Process to learn if Finding Bliss is right for you. These Discovery Sessions can be done in-person, phone, or on Zoom. Becoming a client is a selective process to make sure the Empowered Matchmaking approach is what you are looking for. Empowered Matchmaking is a process of helping people find the Love they want through engaging in the Heartwork.
You can also Become a Catch with Finding Bliss. As one of our screened catches, you’ll be eligible to meet one of our clients if we have a qualified match. If a client or another Catch is a match, you’ll be eligible for a qualifying interview.
Do you offer services for LGBTQ+ clients?
Absolutely! Finding Bliss was founded in 2008 exclusively working with gay men. In 2013 Soniyah opened up her Relationship Coaching and Empowered Matchmaking to all genders and all sexual orientations, including LGBTQ+.

Of course. It takes courage to choose the path to finding Love in a new way. Honoring our history and past experiences is part of that journey. What results can I expect from working with Finding Bliss?
With Finding Bliss, the research shows that Love is Inevitable and there are infinite ways to finding Love. About 40% of Soniyah’s Matchmaking clients found Love. Nearly 90% of her coaching clients found Love. The majority of all her clients found Love on their own, with about 10% of Soniyah’s clients finding their person through a traditional match.
Love Fact: Nearly 30% of people who have gone through either an Initial Call or a Discovery Session end up meeting their person before even embarking on the journey with the Heartwork.
