Most people imagine a Matchmaker as someone arranging dates and introducing you to potential matches. Names, profiles, introductions, and hopefully, meeting your person. But after nearly two decades of Matchmaking and Love Research, I’ve discovered that the real magic doesn’t always live in the introductions through a Matchmaker. It is about having our mindset come into alignment with our intention of finding Love.

The Reality of Matchmaking

Only about 10% of my clients meet their Beloved through a traditional match from me as their Matchmaker. About 30% meet through online connections. So yes, online dating does work, even though it can be frustrating for some (so you’re not alone!).

And the rest? They find Love in infinite serendipitous ways: getting on a plane, walking a dog, going to an event, having dinner with a friend, an introduction through a friend-of-a-friend, at a wedding, and the list goes on.

These discoveries led me to create what I call Empowered Matchmaking. This is a process that helps you find Love the way it is destined for you, versus charging a retainer and making matches. Because the magic is not always in the introduction itself, it’s about becoming aligned, open, and ready so that Love can find its way to you, in whatever form it chooses.
