A Wedding Planner’s Wedding
This was no ordinary wedding. I mean, none that I’ve officiated are, to be honest ;). However, this one was for a wedding planner, now known as Mrs. Samar Hazelwood Hattar, founder of Blissful Events, who got to have her dream wedding with the Love of her life.
Samar and Courtney’s Love was inevitable, as the Love Research has shown again and again. None of this surprises me at all anymore after 17 years of witnessing sacred Love come together. However, I am still in awe and amazement when I get to witness a Love like this. Their journey to this inevitability was built through honesty, courage, care, healing, compassion, unlearning, and relearning what it means to Love, through devotion to the Heartwork and to one another.
A Royal Wedding
This wedding was above and beyond. It was grand. It was royal. It was extravagant! This wedding is IT for Samar and Courtney, so they went all out at the stunning Venue, Viansa! Their favorite DJ, Ben from DJ WorksSF, was epic and created such a fun night. They literally had an entourage of people following them, from a photographer (Sheila from Studio J Photography), to a videographer (Kyle from Studio Arcady), to a content creator (Captured By Kayla), to coordinators (Sonja and Joellen from Blissful Events), and beyond. Their wedding party, family, and kiddos were over the moon to be there, witnessing these two celebrate Love. I can truly go on and on about how extraordinary their Love is and how wonderful the day was. It was a gift to create such a heart-centered ceremony for these two, as their Wedding Officiant and Relationship Coach, I feel honored beyond measure. Watching Samar and Courtney stand before their loved ones and choose each other with such intention was deeply moving for every single one of us. One of my favorite moments was witnessing the way they looked at each other during the ceremony and throughout the night. In the midst of all the grandeur, it was clear that time slowed down, and it was only the two of them standing there, fully present with the magnitude of what they were choosing and celebrating.
Finding Bliss is something Samar and Courtney consciously co-created. And the best is yet to come for these two!

Rightfully so, Samar’s vision is for her wedding to be seen by hundreds, thousands, and millions of viewers, because she wants to inspire Love in others! She wants to show that if she can do it, so can you! She is also committed to supporting the extraordinary vendors who helped make her dream wedding, which was just a vision at one point, come into reality. She wants us all to grow together and get the recognition that we all deserve, and most importantly, the recognition that she deserves.
